115. Lynne Spears- Through the Storm- Review
You can well believe that Lynne Spears did not deny her girls the chance to hit stardom- but neither did she push them to it- the system saw to that.
The desire for wealth and fame is inherent in most people because the system guarantees that we mortals will have no power to resist it. This happened to the Spears girls but is it any wonder? Which one of us would turn our backs on fame and fortune? Only they without talent, who, like the fox, because the grapes were too high, say they were sour and useless.
Therefore it is believed that fame and fortune is the key to happiness and it becomes quite credible to base our reason for happiness on that. Unfortunately, as seen in the book, in basing our happiness on the quest for fame and fortune we move the goal posts of our reason for being, because as creatures of a greater plan, the reason for happiness lies much beyond the fact of how many people have bought our disk, book or clicked on our website.
There are times when a spade should be called a spade, but using religious terms, as at times Ms Spears invokes, can only make sense to those who have faith; for the rest of the readers, it is like dishing out a double dose of gin and vodka to a teetotaller.
