386. Berlusconi and Pontius Pilate
Berlusconi has contributed Nine Billion Euros to Italy in taxes and
given work to thousands of people. What have those judges done for the good of Italy?
Beheaded its Democracy!
A 20 years’ man-hunt against Berlusconi, who, not being put asunder by political means was condemned to a political death by a series of judges who cannot be more adeptly described than those easily comparable to Pontius Pilate, since most, if not all judges having no tangible proof on hand, insisting that he was guilty anyway, and because “IT” was thought so, they condemned him.
Odd, isn’t it how the Italian
justice system works, but anyone is welcome to storm Internet, the courts’
files whatever, you will not be able to find any tangible evidence that can prove
Berlusconi himself is guilty of fraud (a few thousand Euros) against the Italian tax payer, of which
he is the MAIN contributor to the tune of NINE BILLION Euros.
I am not the only one who firmly
believes this in not a just sentence, and not just by those who belong to his
party but because it is an insult to any citizen’s intelligence who is not
blinded by prejudice and hatred to be forced to believe that the Italian
justice system can wave away as if they did not exist 40 odd reasons Berlusconi
presented in defense of his innocence and preferring to heed the testimony of a
man who died on 6 July 2001 and some news items of Berlusconi’s guilt as
reported by the Italian magazine, owned by Berlusconi’s adversaries, the “Espresso”.*
Let us remember that Berlusconi
handed
over all the nominations he had in the Mediaset Society which he founded in
1978 to Fedele Confalonieri in 1993 when Berlusconi decided to go into
politics. And let us remember that when this fraud presumably took place
Berlusconi was Prime Minister and after a hard day’s work at being head of a
government he went home and spent hours on end with his accountant??? We all
know Berlusconi had better things to do in his “free” time. Besides as the
article in “Il Giornale” ** there is not a single invoice missing or issued
from Mediaset that proves fraud took place.
Of course the Left-wing are bursting with joy
on all sides at this condemnation to get Berlusconi out of the way, as anyone
who has been condemned by law cannot stand for Parliament. And since the Left-wing
are a blood thirsty lot they will demand for Berlusconi’s head on a golden
platter. Hopefully the Right-wing will not be dumb enough to concede it.
That is why the Right-wing parliamentarians are demonstrating this
evening in front of his residence which is near the Houses of Parliament… they, rightly so, will not permit Berlusconi be thrown out of Parliament, as the Left-wing has demanded.
Which brings us to the position of the President of Italy, he has said in the
past and repeats in the present that he will not dissolve parliament for any
reason whatsoever until a new election system is implemented. But if anyone
is going to make this government fall, it won’t be the Right-wing at all, least
of all Berlusconi- but the Premier Enrico Letta’s own party, the Left as they will not support the government with Berlusconi in Parliament.
However, what many, not only
in Italy, but all around the world are not truly aware of, what is at stake
here is not just the head of Berlusconi or Letta’s government but the democracy and freedom of Italy which is being decapitated by
a faulty system of justice that doesn’t work AT ALL LEVELS. ***
