325. Why do they burn Christians in Syria?

We see Christians burnt in Africa, in the Punjab, we see it continuously in Pakistan and now Syria.

That troublesome area called Syria seems to be a replica of the events which occurred in Libya with Gheddafi- only with one major difference- in Syria they burn Christians and their churches.  They have nothing to do with the warfare that is going on, they are burnt simply because they are Christians… why?

A Christian is a follower of Christ- they believe in Christ and they are burnt to death just for that reason, plain and simple.

In a world where society believes in various philosophers, religions, leaders, it is no skin off my nose if my neighbour believes in, say, god “Cat” or Jesus Christ, both are part of the human reality and vision and as Pope John Paul I in my recent blog said: if a person belongs to a certain religious body it is because that person hopes to find what will fulfil the emptiness that man on his own cannot fill.

Some find this fulfilment in the god “Cat”, I personally find it in the God Jesus because at least I know he, at any rate, has power over death and eternal life- something god “Cat” hasn’t come up with yet. Not only did Jesus raise people from the dead and Lazarus was not the only one, but he himself was raised from the dead and came back on this earth both in body and spirit as the journalists of the time; Mark and Matthew validated alongside a great number of witnesses who saw Jesus, not as a ghost but as someone who sat down with them, who provided enough fishes and bread to feed the multitude, who ate with them, who spoke with them and even lit a fire so the fishes could be cooked.

Why others should think I would leave this Christ to follow god “Cat” who has not come back from the dead or provided bread and fishes for supper, I haven’t the faintest idea, even less why they should burn me for it- total idiotic behaviour and definitely barbaric in essence.
