235. God’s Love is not Merchandise- Part Two
| Man before God is naked- Michelangelo |
What made me shudder this morning was the news transmitting a video of a supposed face of Sakineth saying that foreigners should mind their own business as this has nothing to do with them and she had committed a sin. What other diabolic charade will Iranian authorities think up next? Taking the whole world for a bunch of fools was their answer to our appeal to their intelligence. This kind of behaviour as I referred to yesterday by a Pakistani judge is another display of authorities acting like spoiled children demanding they have their own way even when what they demand goes against God’s law of “Thou shalt not kill”. Killing Christians for alleged blaspheme and killing Muslim women for alleged adultery, disgracefully violates the law of the one and only God that made each and every one of us.
By such actions these authorities cut themselves away from the Love of God. You cannot love God if you don’t even try to keep His commandments. But death will come to them too, for they are not immortal.
If nothing else is certain in life, death is a certainty for we must all die- and whether we believe it or not with death comes another life, the continuation of our life in a different form- for all things transform themselves, nothing is extinct and with such continuation of life, our deeds follow us. If we burn and hang Christians, Muslim, Hindus, Atheists and so on, we are burning and hanging God’s children- for there is only one God, the God who made the whole of humanity. To torture and kill God’s children is an action that cuts us away from the love of God by our own doing, by our own choice. Unless we make amends, unless, as I said yesterday, we have a change of heart, this earthly separation will be continued in eternity.
This means that we will have placed upon ourselves the burden of eternal misery because we have separated ourselves from happiness- the happiness that can only be gained by being in a relationship with God and being in the Presence of God.
Not interested in gaining this eternal happiness? Perhaps then you prefer to continue to hanker for more goods, more power, more vengeance, more fame, more killings, more destruction of what is good... all things that lead to more and more misery... You are welcome it- but don’t go crawling to God with your last breath- he’ll not recognize you clad in your tail, horns and stoking iron fork... no doubt someone else will.

Thought I’d add a few mythological figures just to make the picture more realistic. However, don’t be fooled that the Devil does not exist; indeed he does, his name is Lucifer.
