94. Spain's Verbal Diarrhea

The Italian Parliament-

voted mainly because they promised to clean up crime

Just to make sure I was not making a mistake, I looked up the word diarrhea to see exactly what it meant and it says “abnormal discharge of loose matter from the bowels”. No, I had not made a mistake, that’s exactly what I meant except I will substitute ‘bowels’ with ‘mouth’ because that’s what is coming out of some of Spain’s Ministers’ mouths- an abnormal discharge of loose matter against the Italian proposed laws on immigration.

Apart from saying we are “racists” and what have you, Zappatero’s Ministers also said we are suffering from a fear of foreigners, which I have to admit is true. Italians are much afraid of foreigners; but not the French, the British, Americans, not even the Chinese: Italians are afraid only of some foreigners those who come to steal in our homes, slit our throats, rape and strangle women, kidnap children, stick hot pokers up our rear... of these foreigners we are very much afraid, because it could happen to anyone of us at any given time and on quite a regular basis. They too, the Spanish, would run and bolt themselves behind iron cast doors if this happened in their country.

They, the Spanish government, have already made provisions against such phenomena; they have trained dogs to attack immigrants when they land, they have erected walls of stone and mortar high enough so no one from the shore can climb them... and we are the nasty ones!

Their immigration laws are much tougher than ours and just because we have elected a government solely on the fact they promised to put an end to this nightmare- the Spanish had better shut up when our government decides not to let criminals flood our streets.

Everyone has a country (except the Palestinians as their country was usurped from them 60 years ago- which doesn’t mean I for one moment condone all these suicide bombers since I would be the first to set a match under them), but governments have to deal with their own criminals, their own poverty not send off to Italy to deal with it. Italy has no natural resources to sustain them, Italy has no housing to put them, Italy has its own poor and criminals to deal with. Let Spain take them under their wings since they are so adamant in criticizing the proposed Italian immigrant policy... Let Spain open up their arms in welcome to thousands and thousands of desperate people brought over on boats that have been described as the deteriorated carts of the sea, instead of setting wild dogs upon them! When they have done that, then they can talk to our Minister of Foreign affairs without being ashamed to look at him in the eyes.

The Italian Foreign Minister is going to visit these ‘gentlemen’ tomorrow... quite honestly, I don’t see why since he is only doing what we, the Italian people have asked him to do... restrict immigration, he doesn’t have to explain anything to these ‘gentlemen’. They, on the other hand should go and stand in a corner with a dunce’s hat on to show the rest of the class how ignorant they are.

Those ‘gentlemen’ should also remember they have nothing to teach Italy on morality. It is their government who have made Spain so morally squalid. They have legalized a mayhem of depravity... The leftwing ideal of depravity does not suit most Italians. We don’t want our youths to walk the streets and see bare bums exposed to the four winds and think this is the right, moral and legal way to live. They also have to think that governments don’t last forever and if they have any affection for their country, they have to bear in mind they should not leave such a mess behind them for their King and Queen to clean up.
