441. Italy: Referendum- for the Undecided

It’s amazing how two-faced, shallow minded, very attached to their positions and selfish up to their eyeballs are several Italians!

For 40 years we ask, beg, implore that parliamentary expenses be cut – and the politicians say yes, yes, yes - the candy to keep us quiet, deceive us and get our vote; they swear on their honour that parliamentary expense will be cut - this parliament, the most expensive of all Europe, and almost equal in size to that of the United States, however, we fall on the ridiculous to compare our 60 million citizens to the 322,762,018 US citizens, see what I mean?.

Indeed, for more than 40 years, to keep their ass well-glued on the comfortable chair of this useless Senate was the major aim of each parliamentary! And Italy pays!

The irony then is that in every election campaign, not to mention the current one, the trump card of both right and the left is that of chopping the expenses of parliament! After having duped us and extorted the vote from us poor wretches, what do they say ... Now is not the time, the law is not phrased well, there are errors, postpone... (oh excuse me Sir, please do postpone so as to go back to cross the t and dot the i!) being well mindful to remind us wretches, the people, that those who vote against this reform is not because they don’t want change they just want to POSTPONE... so that their ass may continue to stay on that useless Senate seat ... and WE pay!

They have delayed in continuation and have done so until a strange Martian called Renzi came crashing down upon them, putting a stop to this infernal POSTPONE, replacing it with LET’S DO!

And what happens? The right wing, including the twinkling 5 Stars, become furious - how dare this little man do what for 40 years we have not done? And the left wing? How dare this bully who took Chair, Party, Chamber, fully injuring our democracy-  say LET’S DO! So echoes the voices from the roots of the old Communists who of Democracy have taught us so much!!! And these, dear Italians and citizens of the world are the ones who form the political party Renzi appertains, those who should support rather to do everything to nail him in a coffin with nails that even Jesus had never seen so large and threatening.

These leftist morons- instead of being proud of this Martian, risen from their roots, disown him completely!

And to think that with those big bullies, the Germans, who aim to be masters of Europe and perhaps beyond, our Martian has even exceeded the Knight (Berlusconi) who had limited himself in the past to call our dear Angie (whom I personally find charming): a “cullona" (fat ass) though promptly denied by the said Knight. Like I said Renzi went beyond such limitations and actually presented a big and rounded “NO” to Germany’s bullying adding a much needed “Stop massacring Italy.”

What has Germany given the world? Two world wars, the Gestapo, the Nazis, torture, destruction !!! And now wants to take Europe again!

Patience! Italy will always be a winner! We have the Vatican. The Coliseum also. Venice, seas, mountains, and even beautiful women are ours. And through the Renaissance, Civilisation was given to the world... But what we can boast about  most of all, is that Renzi, the Martian from outer space who instead of saying POSTPONE, says, LET’S DO... is ours!
