405. Marò: the Cunning Indians against the Ingenuous Italians

Unless the Italian authorities want to appear even more dim-witted than in the past, they had better not participate in the niceties of the Hindu celebrations which take place throughout the year in India but particularly in January. In fact the Italian diplomats in India should be demonstrating and kick up a fuss against the absurd way the Indian Authorities are treating the case of the two Italian military (Marò) accused of killing two Indian fishermen while performing their duty in protecting a cargo filled with goods precious for the benefit of mankind from an international sea infested by piracy.

In effect it would be out of place to say the least if the Italian diplomats licked the ass of those Indian authorities who had actually held the Italian ambassador hostage  during the Marò’s visit to Italy for the national  elections last year. No country who flagrantly disregards diplomatic immunity or any rule of human decency deserves any respect at all, let alone participation in their festivities.

The reason why I gave this post the title I have is because that is precisely the behaviour the authorities of the countries involved have demonstrated throughout this dilatory affair.

Right from the start the Indian Authorities showed their sneaky cunningness by calling in the ship the Italian military were on so as to AID them. What a diabolical trick!!! As soon as the ship was within Indian authorization the Marò were promptly arrested but it serves the Italians right for having obeyed and pulled their ship in instead of out- but then Italians are not as sneaky as Indians are they?

The second mistake was when on the Marò’s release under a multi million Euro caution they were given leave to visit their families during Christmas 2012. At that time they returned mainly because the Indian Authorities said (and signed)it was only a matter of a hearing a verdict would be given and since the Marò had nothing to hide and wanted to clear their name it seemed only logical to return...  Well, we all know how logical that turned out to be! The following April the Marò were allowed back to Italy for the national elections but the crafty Indians kept the Italian Ambassador hostage until the Marò’s return- just in case the Italians decided to wake up and become just as sneaky as the Indians were... Alas the Italians weren’t able to beat the Indians at being sneaky and the two Italian militaries are still deprived of their freedom- and all because they were doing their job.

The Indian Authorities are so intent in getting justice from Italy
yet these Authorities let their own people die of disease and hunger
in tin boxes beside the road. Do they really care about justice or
are they just showing off?

 But the Italians, the European community, NATO, The United Nations and the Human Rights Organization must not allow their Military to end up in the limbo of the never ever ending muddle of Indian diabolical cunningness.

 As Margherita Boniver, one of Italy’s most trusted Parliamentarians, said yesterday: Let all hell be let loose on India... and so it must be, the Indian authorities leave the rest of the world with no other choice.
