369. Work Ennobles Man

Work Ennobles Man - Italian saying

The first article of the Italian Constitution is “Italy is a democratic Republic based on work.” (“L’Italia è una Repubblica democratica, fondata sul lavoro.”) I wanted to emphasize this so as to remind Italy’s Parliamentarians, who after over 40 days of being elected have not yet come up with a government.

These pictures are here to remind them to stop dicking around, roll up their sleeves and get some work done, namely give Italy a government… and please let no one be fooled- the new Five Star Movement ( I Grillini – the crickets) who have obtained a third of the votes- are just as much to blame. 

They in particular have done nothing to give Italy a government, in fact they have done nothing at all and they are earning astronomical sums of money just dicking around like the rest of Italian parliamentarians. They too have no idea what work is, they too have not rolled up their sleeves to achieve the good of Italy, they too are just messing about looking pretty and taking silly rides in the country to secret meetings organized by their Hitlerian leadership.

My dear “Grillini” it is time you too rolled up your sleeves like real men and women who actually work, but of course not one of you have probably a clue what a shovel is used for, so it is useless to ask you to start working for your country instead of draining it by your presence and expect the rest of us to keep you in riches and comfort while you are lying around on your laurels.
