| Maroni arrives in Sarmede-greets Vice-Mayor Stephen Maso |
I'm not a
member of the Northern League because I do not believe in breaking
up Italy, and neither do I agree that the League can continue to call the
capital "thieving Rome" when
some of their leaders in Padania, are also thieves.

| Maroni speaks with the Mayor of Verona, Flavio Tosi
|
However having
said that , we must admit that Roberto
Maroni was one of the best ministers we have had. In the African illegal immigrants crises , when Italy was abandoned by
all, including the European states, Roberto Maroni, brought credit to Italy in his
humane management of the crises and instead of throwing the immigrants back
into the water, to certain death, as did Spain and Malta, allowed them to
remain until, somehow, another arrangement could be found.

Since the 80's, the Northern League has
done its part in protecting the Veneto Region
from exploitation by Rome on the management of what
to do in the South, the attitude at the time being the one we have now towards
the African people. Instead of
developing their own land, Africans seek
to immigrate here to Europe, the first stop being Italy, if ever they move from
herewith! The same thing happened with
the South with the North in the pre- League days.
 |
| And ending up in the Bar
|
Instead of
developing their regions , the graduates of the South (and sometimes
you could never know how they became so) were distributed in schools, colleges, hospitals, administrative
offices etc.. in the North. But why, I wonder, was there so great an abundance of graduates in the
south? Are there no schools, colleges, hospitals, administrative offices etc..
in the South?
 |
| Break... |
This mentality of
immigrating certain categories of people from South to North
was opposed by the Northern League with good reason because, as in Africa, it is not with immigration that we solve the
problem of the economy but in developing one’s own region.

And the South
is not without resources such as some would have us believe.
One of their best resources (as is with
the rest of Italy) is tourism . But if
they do not offer suitable facilities, inviting and economical, the heck will people
from around the world bother to come to dive into those beautiful blue crystal
clear waters of Italy’s beautiful South
 |
| The talks begin |
 |
| Maroni gets the last word
|
With all the
benefits and contributions that were passed from north to south
through Rome the people in the south could have achieved such structures long
ago- but no- the money got into the wrong hands, those of administrators so as not to call them Mafia.
In addition, many European funds were not utilized because
there were no projects to be submitted for their use? Yes, gentlemen, instead of holding on to your
planners and graduates to be useful in the south, send them to the north and
shove the graduates there out of their country! Afraid of the Mafia? But if there really is the political and
judicial will, the Mafia can be put behind bars- indeed!
 |
| The League continues...
|
Therefore, it
is obvious that there is great need for a political party which safeguards the
people of the North- because in doing so it also protects those of the South-
