5. People Say I live in Paradise

People say I live in Paradise… The quiet hills and curved valleys of my father’s fathers lie before me as I look upon them every morning I awake. I guess this is as near to paradise as one can get- unspoiled, still in their natural rugged form as if untouched from their creation- these are the Venetian Hills as I call them since they are an hour’s drive from the city on water. Venice too, has her own magic… Each village, town, city in Italy seems radiate its own beauty, glory, and one can never tire to walk its sun showered streets and mingle in the laughter and gaiety of its fun loving citizens. Yes, I live in paradise- but some people live in hell.

Yesterday, I did something quite amazing for my limited capacity in navigating around the net. Actually, on this score, it is not just my fingers that have a limitation but what enables the rest of the world to navigate on the web at the batting of an eye lid, for me and the rest of that part of mankind living in this area of the universe, there is no signal that supports a fast band on internet. Everything I do on internet is paid by the minute and it is laboriously slow. However, I did manage to do something which took even me by surprise- I subscribed to ‘AdSense’ something which enables an ad to be placed on my blog. As the organizers promise that the ads would be matched to my type of language, but, since the name of my blog contains “Service”, (it used to be called "Daily Service") at first I was a little hesitant as I did not want my web page to be inundated by requests for special “services” like massages, call girls and the likes… just isn’t me.

However, I needn’t have worried… The ad was about Relief to people in devastated areas... it was a rather touching and thoughtful ad… it shows people living in hell- and it isn’t their fault. This link is worth taking a look as it’s all about people… people caring for other people… something out of fashion in our modern times.
